In 2007, Thomas Kellenberger founded Island Kids Philippines (IKP) in Switzerland and the Philippine Island Kids Int’l. Foundation, Inc. (PIKIFI) in the Philippines. Today, IPK/PIKIFI run a children’s village and two day schools. More than 700 children are given real opportunities for the future through complete quality education, including the chance for a university degree. More than 60 children receive full-time family like care in the organization’s Children’s Village.
After one year in Switzerland, Thomas Kellenberger returns to the Philippines – on foot! His journey takes him from Interlaken via Vietnam to the Philippines.
The Bernese wants to raise awareness about the problem of child abuse and generate donations for the charitable activities of his aid organization. The goal is to raise at least 165,000 Swiss francs to finance the construction and operation of a second children’s village.
Your donation will go in full amount to the project. When using payment slips, please note «Kuya Thom» as the purpose of payment (payment slip).
Whether Postfinance or BEKB: Simply scan the QR code in your banking app and specify the amount. This type of donation means that there are no transaction fees.
