Programs and Projects

Island Kids Philippines and the Philippine Island Kids Int’l. Foundation, Inc. are offering a variety of social welfare programs and services within the range of transformational community development, child protection, education, and humanitarian aid. We are working in close partnership with the local government, the Department of Education (DepEd), the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), and with other local and international NGO’s. Our social welfare programs and services are conducted in a sustainable manner, aiming to empower children and their families to transform the environment they are living in. Our programs aim to holistically enhance the capabilities of least fortunate children and youths as well as their families. At the center of our activities are always the people. Together, we search for holistic solutions to the complex problems and challenges they face in their daily lives. Through temporary shelter and protection, community organizing, psychosocial support such as counseling, education, group support, paralegal aid and restorative justice, complete education and apprenticeship as well as medical first aid and calamity relief, we build together a framework, where individuals can develop their potentials enabling them to break out of the vicious cycle of poverty they are trapped in.
