Women’s House

Mothers of abused children and adolescents (and therefore also the children, meaning the victims themselves) are often financially and existentially dependent on the offenders. Due to these existential fears, mothers often do not dare to stand up for their children or to protect them against misuse and abuse.

Directly next to the Alice Rose Clover-House, a safe haven has been created, a women’s house. Here two women with their children temporarily find lodging and protection, each in an apartment of their own. But, they also get support to find their way back into a safe existence.

The house was named “Ruth Kellenberger Safe House” in honor of Thomas’s mother who died 6th October 2020. As a founding member of IKP, this wonderful and courageous woman committed herself right from the beginning to the charity institution her son has established. She did it with a lot of dedication, professionalism, pride and joy.

Boys’ House

On the upper level the boys from the Red House moved in. Up till then, they had to share the common space and kitchen in the Red House with young adults – mainly women. “In the new house we finally feel at home and can furnish everything the way we men like it”, they commented on their new lodging.
