Games, fun and action for our children, joy during the Christmas celebrations, first harvests on the farm, and of course the birth of Thomas and Rachel Kellenberger’s first child.

Another school year has come to an end for many of our children. We are proud of every one of them who successfully can move on to the next grade. This can still not be taken for granted, as not all children in our area of activity start or actually finish the compulsory schooling. Yet, each year the number of school children is increasing. For this to happen each year, we have to thank our committed employees and you, our loyal donors.

The end of the school year is an important occasion and is celebrated with appreciation. The family members wash their best clothes, the children put on their school uniforms, everyone dresses up. IKP/PIKIFI care about sustainability and a responsible attitude towards our planet. Therefore, we are especially pleased to have found the land for our new project: The BARLIF-Farm will be developed into a place where regenerative farming and integral ways of sustainable living in harmony with nature can be learnt. Full of energy, the four board members of the newly established foundation will now set to work.

We are very pleased to report that Thomas Kellenberger is finally getting better. He is confident that he will be able to come to Switzerland at the beginning of December. In due time we shall inform you of events where Thomas would like to talk about his long trip, his plans and further objectives of PIKIFI’s work. There is other good news of our work in Cagayan de Oro: Start of the school year, a competition, a new Swiss stamp and much more.
